Toro has launched the Dingo TX 1300, which brings a new combination of power, reach, and convenient controls to the Toro Dingo lineup.

When you have a lot of material to move, the Dingo TX 1300 provides the power to do it efficiently. It’s ideal for landscape, hardscape, and tree care jobs, though its versatility allows it to be used for much more. Dingo compact utility loaders are an extremely functional class of machinery.

Features for maximum productivity

The Dingo TX 1300 features an exclusive Intelliscope loader arm with SmartLoad technology, giving the operator an additional 26” of reach. An impressive hinge-pin height of 109” allows for loads to be lifted up and over the side of a dumpster or truck, another major convenience. The goal of these features is to help users reach maximum productivity.

On that same note, Toro has integrated the hydraulics and loader arm functions into one thumb-operated controller for easier, more accommodating operation. One hand can be used to operate the loader arm and auxiliary attachments and the other to operate the Toro patented traction controls. This update makes it more manageable than ever to pick, place and dump loads all day long.

Synthetic Turf Council names AstroTurf’s Todd DeWolfe as chairman

The Synthetic Turf Council has named AstroTurf’s Todd DeWolfe as chairman following its annual membership meeting in October in Tucson, Arizona.

DeWolfe, who serves as the vice president of business development for AstroTurf, previously served on the board, including as vice chairman this past year.

“I’m very proud and humbled to have been elected to Chair the Board of Directors at the STC, said DeWolfe. “It’s extremely important to AstroTurf to volunteer and give back to our industry which has given back to so many. Following in the footsteps of some giants of our industry is truly an honor.”

GIE + Expo reports high attendance and a new name

The numbers are in, and GIE + Expo returned this year as an in-person event with much success.

The tradeshow drew 23,922 total attendees in 2021, an increase from shows in 2019 and 2018. They also introduced a new name and brand for the annual event. Equip Exposition was debuted as the name for the 2022 show, which will take place in Louisville from October 19 to October 21, 2022.

“This year’s strong showing is huge for us and the industry as we look forward to next year and the transition to Equip Exposition,” said Kris Kiser, president of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute and managing partner of the show. “The trade show remains the best place to connect with your peers, network, and gain a competitive edge.”
